Venn Diagrams sound complicated: “Interlaced circles used to illustrate relationships between defined sets.” But their logic is simple once you look at them. Basically, we are all the sum total of our individual characteristics whenever they overlap. There is no scientific process for these, which is convenient, because then no one can claim they're wrong—not even the SOTYs themselves! Here are our best guesses from Tony Hawk (1990) to Wes Kremer (2014).
