The Making of "cherry"
Words & photos: Jonathan Mehring
I was fortunate enough to spend most of last summer shooting and skating with Bill Strobeck and the Supreme crew. The "Supreme Kids" as they became known were a crew of friends from LA and NYC who all skate together. Their clique is reminiscent of the Supreme crew of the early '90s where you had a bunch of friends skating and pushing each other. All hanging out together, not because some Team Manager decided they all should get in the van together, but because they all grew up together skating or met and got along well. Not to mention, style is key. They are the new generation of style skaters. Truly, it's not what you do but how you do it. All relatively unknown in the the skate world there is a lot of anticipation about this video. Soon everyone will see, they do not disappoint.
