Independence, Missouri, will no longer be known for being the birthplace of Harry S. Truman or where Joseph Smith thought Zion would be, but as the hometown of Powell Peralta’s new pro Zach Doelling. If you've followed his journey, you know this moment was never guaranteed. Growing up, his whole family moved around from couches to shelters and even his mom’s van, yet the precarious upbringing never deterred Zach from fulfilling his childhood dream. Over the weekend, we got our returning legend Mike V—along with Andy Anderson!—to surprise our guy with his very first pro board.
