Yesterday, some of the top-rated female skaters gathered at the Vans skatepark in Orange, CA, for the Girls Combi Classic. The competition continues to get gnarlier and this year was no exception. Check the shredding here. Girl power!

The weather was hot, the skating was insane, and Chris Russell was on fire. After two days and over 100 skaters, Chris Russell put together a run that was all speed and power to take 1st. Check out all the highlights.

The Combi Pool Party never disappoints, and the action this year was heavier than ever. In the end, Pedro Barros went ballistic and blew it out for first place. Thanks again for the good times, Vans. 

The Combi Pool is a daunting, unforgiving concrete pit, but these women rise to the challenge every year, and the skating just keeps getting better. Cheers, ladies!

Broken boards equals broken dreams. Chris Russell had it in the bag but one too many hang-ups enabled Tom Schaar to spin his way to the top. Meanwhile, Pedro Barros stole the show with a death defying NBD. 10 years of the Pool Party and this was the best one yet! Cheers, Vans!
