After an unprecedented year of boundary-pushing skating, we needed a night in The City to kick back and crown our 2022 Skater of the Year, Tyshawn Jones. Let’s walk through to see the friends and fellow skaters that came to celebrate.

Skateboarding’s top concrete crushers slug it out on the insane terrain of Red’s Lincoln City, Oregon – parks, pits, dirt and destruction. Grindline the Band, Arctic, Bad Shit and many more provide the soundtrack as the crew pushes the limits for those who can’t. Pure mayhem and good times! Where were you?!

Vans hosted a double-decker bus SF skate history tour followed by an epic sesh at Treasure Island. Burnout climbed aboard.

On a cold, rainy Friday night in SF, the skate world found shelter for the crowning of AVE as Skater of the Year. Thanks to everyone that came out and to Hongry and The Spits for providing the soundtrack.
